A game-changer for lymphoedema, fibrosis, and scar management
For Jacqui, founder of Lymphedema Therapy Training and Education in Queensland, delivering effective, hands-on care is central to her practice. When she introduced the Hivamat Deep

“I’ve been using the Hivamat for about a month now, primarily for lymphoedema, lipoedema, fibrosis, and scar management,” Jacqui explains.
Immediate and lasting patient outcomes
One of the most striking early results came from treating a client with carpal tunnel syndrome who had not recovered well from surgery.
“I used the Hivamat Oscillator for just the last 10 minutes of her consultation,” Jacqui says. “Three days later she rang me and asked to have her other hand treated immediately because the results were so good.”
Not only were the results rapid - they were maintained. “Yes, she has absolutely maintained those results,” Jacqui confirms.

Progress with complex fibrosis and scarring
Jacqui has also seen strong outcomes in complex and challenging cases, including severe fibrosis.
“Fibrosis can be very difficult to treat,” she explains. “It’s a slow process, but after about three treatments we’re seeing almost complete resolution.” In scar management, the benefits are equally compelling.
“I’m working on long-term scarring and finding that the Oscillator is releasing adhesions,” Jacqui says. “The scar colour is changing from a purple tone to more of a skin or silvery colour, and keloid scars are softening.”
Seeing “results right before our eyes”
One of the most rewarding aspects for Jacqui is being able to see visible change during treatment. “We see results right before our eyes,” she says. “Around knees with a lot of oedema, we start seeing definition return. The skin becomes less tight - and in lymphoedema, wrinkles are a good thing.”

Patients have been equally enthusiastic. “When I ask my clients what it feels like, they say it’s MLD on steroids,” Jacqui laughs. “They love my hands - but they love the machine even more.”
