DESCRIPTION
- Comprinet pro-Anti-Embolic Stockings are intended for use during surgical procedures and on patients confined to bed, as a prophylaxis to prevent the formation of blood clots. They are available in knee-high, thigh-high, and waist-high (chaps) and provide 18 mmHg of graduated compression.
- The Jobst Anti-Em/GP Stocking applies a gradient compression, greatest at the ankle, and gradually decreasing to the thigh without tourniquets or impeding the venous return.
- These stockings are only designed for hospital use, to prevent DVTs when patients are inactive or anaesthetised and are ineffective when standing or traveling.
- Jobst Anti-Em/GP stockings are latex-free
- A convenient opening is located on top of the foot so the patient's skin will never touch the floor
- Toe color coordinates with a sizing chart
